Job summary

WIJAYA DAYA SDN BHD in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, seeks a drafting professional to prepare sketches, as-built drawings, and CAD data updates. You will coordinate drawing transfers, review construction plans for discrepancies, and assist in monthly QA/QC and progress reporting for projects managed by the site team.

Requirements include 2–3 years in drafting, proficiency with AutoCAD and design software, and a Cert/Diploma.

Qualifications

• At least 2–3 years experience in drafting.
• Familiar with AutoCAD and engineering design software.
• Certificate or Diploma is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare sketches / drawings as required by Supervisors.
• Prepare As-built drawings and survey data in CAD format.
• Update and transfer data into CAD and backup regularly.
• Review construction drawings and highlight discrepancies.
• Coordinate distribution of drawings to sub-contractors.
• Assist Site/Project Manager in monthly reports and QA/QC reports.
• Study architectural drawings and liaise with consultants on discrepancies.
• Other duties as assigned by Management.

Job description

A Contractor company based in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah.

Job Description:

Prepare sketches / drawings as per the request from /Supervisors

Prepare As-built drawings and survey data in CAD format.

To update and transfer all relevant data into CAD format and to carry out periodical routine data backup.

To study all construction drawings and highlight the outstanding information and discrepancies between drawings.

Preparation of plan printing, transmittals and distribution of construction drawings to sub-contractors.

Updating all drawing list, new and old drawings and data transferring from hand sketches to CAD format.

To assist in the coordination of all construction drawings.

To assist the Site/Project Manager in the preparation of monthly progress report, QA/QC report and other such reports as required by management and the project main contractor and client.

To study all architectural drawings and specifications for the projects.

To assist to liaise with Architectural Consultant on discrepancies in the drawings.

Any other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time by the Management

Requirements:

Candidate must possess at least Certificate or Diploma.

At least 2-3 years experiences in drafting.

Familiar with AutoCAD and Engineering Design Software.
