Job summary

JWA Design Build Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced M&E Coordinator to oversee all mechanical and electrical works for our design and build projects in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah.

You will ensure M&E works are properly planned, coordinated, and executed in accordance with project specifications, timeline and budget, coordinating with consultants, subcontractors, and project teams to ensure smooth project execution.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, or related field.
• Minimum 3-8 years of relevant construction experience, preferably in Design & Build projects.
• Strong knowledge of M&E systems, drawings, and site coordination.
• Familiarity with project scheduling, BQ, and cost control is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review and coordinate M&E drawings, shop drawings, and technical submissions.
• Identify and resolve clashes with architectural, structural, and interior works.
• Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, and project teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Plan and monitor M&E work sequence in line with the overall project schedule.
• Ensure all M&E works comply with project specifications, quality standards, and authority requirements.
• Review subcontractor quotations, scope of work, and cost compliance.
• Maintain proper documentation, including drawing registers, submission logs, and coordination records.
• Provide technical support and resolve site-related issues promptly.
