Job summary

Wan Husin & Associates Sdn Bhd is seeking a skilled Electrical Draftsman to design ELV and electrical system services for mixed development and high-rise projects in Malaysia.

You will produce detailed drawings, coordinate data, and prepare submissions for authorities, while maintaining ISO 9001 standards and health and safety guidelines.

The role requires the ability to work independently and with the drafting team on-site to meet project timelines.

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical design and drafting for building projects.
• Ability to prepare technical drawings and tender/construction drawings.
• Familiar with ISO 9001 standards.
• Proficient in CAD software and data collection for drawings.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate data collection and incorporate into drawings.
• Prepare colored electrical drawings for authority submissions and client presentations.
• Operate CAD equipment to produce designs, working drawings, charts, and records.
• Assist engineers to carry out production drawings and documentation.
• Design electrical system services including HT, LV, and ELV for various projects.
• Ensure quality and timely delivery for high-rise and mixed-development projects.
• Adhere to ISO 9001 quality guidelines and health, safety, and environmental requirements.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

Coordinate the collection of data and incorporate this information into drawings.

Obtain and assemble data to complete electrical designs and measurements as necessary.

To design electrical system services including HT, LV and ELV system

Determine procedures and instructions to be followed, according to design specifications and quality of required materials.

Prepared colored electrical drawings for authority submission and presentation to Client.

Operate computer-aided drafting equipment or conventional drafting station to produce designs, working drawings, charts, forms and records.

Consult or assist the Engineer to carry out all production drawings.

Good work exposure in mixed development and high-rise development projects.

Handle all range of design detailing and drawings independently.

Demonstrate ability to prepare technical work drawings, tender, construction and detailed drawings respectively.

Able to work under minimum supervision.

Produce all drafting services and all relevant tasks for completing concept and detailed drafting of ELV & electrical engineering projects including but not limited to school, housing and commercial building projects or the assigned projects.

Analyzes data and reviews drawings and plan to ensure quality of work and project timelines.

Preparation and documentation of technical drawing; maintain and understanding of all the process required producing and delivering quality documentation.

Check and review of drawing including work colleagues for quality and consistency.

Assist in project documentations.

Adhere to system, standard & guidelines in accordance with ISO 9001 -2008.
