Job summary

Talent Bridge (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking a Drafter to prepare and revise architectural, structural and M&E drawings for hospital projects, coordinating with architects, engineers and site teams to meet project requirements and healthcare standards.

You will produce shop, coordination and as-built drawings with AutoCAD and Revit, update drawings per consultant comments, and ensure compliance with healthcare specifications and schedules.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Certificate in Architectural Drafting, Architecture, Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of drafting experience in construction.
• Experience in hospital, healthcare or complex building projects is strongly preferred.
• Proficient in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit, BIM, SketchUp or Navisworks is an advantage.
• Able to interpret architectural, structural and M&E drawings.
• Familiar with shop drawings, coordination drawings and as-built documentation.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Willing to work at the project site when required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare architectural, structural and M&E drawings using AutoCAD, Revit or related software.
• Produce detailed drawings for hospital areas such as wards, operating theatres, laboratories, pharmacies, clinics and utility rooms.
• Prepare shop drawings, coordination drawings, submission drawings and as-built drawings.
• Update drawings based on consultant comments, design changes and site conditions.
• Coordinate architectural drawings with structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing and medical-gas layouts.
• Identify drawing discrepancies, clashes and constructability issues before site execution.
• Ensure drawings comply with approved designs, project specifications and healthcare requirements.
• Maintain drawing registers, revision records and document-control procedures.
• Conduct site measurements and verify completed works against approved drawings.
• Work closely with Project Manager, Architect, Architecture Supervisor, engineers, subcontractors and consultants.
• Attend technical and coordination meetings when required.
• Complete drawings according to the project schedule and submission deadlines.
