Job summary

M S ICT Solution Sdn Bhd is seeking confident and motivated individuals to join our team in delivering electrical building services drawings. The role involves preparing comprehensive drawings, shop drawings, and as-built records for projects, with close coordination with project managers and subcontractors to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare electrical building services drawings, including single-line diagrams, lighting and small-power layouts, ELV system layouts, lightning protection drawings, and other related drawings.
• Prepare shop drawings and as-built drawings to ensure accurate and complete project records.
• Revise drawings and layouts to incorporate design changes while ensuring compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
• Conduct site visits and surveys to gather information required for accurate drawing preparation and documentation of existing site conditions.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to incorporate technical requirements and specifications into drawings.
• Assist in preparing tender documents by providing accurate drawings and relevant technical information.
• Attend project meetings to provide progress updates, address technical matters, and contribute to practical design solutions.
• Stay informed of the latest building services standards, regulations, and industry best practices.
• Recommend process improvements and implement more efficient workflows within the drafting team.
• Maintain organised drawing archives and project documentation.

Job Responsibilities

Work closely with project managers, designers, engineers, and other stakeholders to support the successful delivery of projects.

Prepare comprehensive electrical building services drawings, including single-line diagrams, lighting and small-power layouts, ELV system layouts, lightning protection drawings, and other related drawings.

Prepare shop drawings and as-built drawings to ensure accurate and complete project records.

Revise drawings and layouts to incorporate design changes and improvements while ensuring compliance with project specifications and industry standards.

Requirements

Proficient in AutoCAD 2D.

Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.

Good command of written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Knowledge or experience in electrical building services design will be an added advantage.

Detail-oriented, with a proactive and practical approach to problem-solving.

Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Familiar with relevant building codes and electrical system regulations, with a willingness to remain updated on industry requirements.

Able to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines without compromising work quality.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
