Job summary

Lux Distributor Sdn Bhd in Johor is seeking a Civil Drafter to design layouts for water pipe alignments, perform clash checks, and draft temporary works schematics for active diversions.

You will draw plans, check utility drawings, generate material lists, and revise drawings reflecting field changes, coordinating with site engineers and project managers.

Strong AutoCAD skills and civil engineering basics are required, with 2–3 years of related experience in a drafting role.

Key responsibilities

• Draw plans, profiles, and cross-sections for new and rerouted water pipe alignments
• Check utility drawings to prevent pipes from hitting roads, power lines, or other structures
• Draft schematics for temporary bypass lines, shoring, and valve placements used during active diversions
• Generate lists of required pipe lengths, fittings, valves, and materials
• Revise final drawings to show exact field changes made during construction
• Liaise with authorities for work clearances

About you

• Strong skill in AutoCAD
• Understanding of civil engineering basics, pressure pipe networks, and fluid flow concepts
• High attention to detail for measuring elevations, slopes, and pipe depths
• Ability to work closely with site engineers and project managers
• At least 2 to 3 years of working experience in related field
