Job summary

Lam Research in Batu Kawan, Penang, Malaysia, is seeking a Dir, Supply Base Management & Project Management to lead supplier execution, risk management, and capacity readiness across key commodities. You will partner with leadership to translate business needs into supply-base strategies, drive escalation and recovery, and champion AI-enabled operations for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Management or related discipline.
• 15+ years of progressive experience in supply chain, supplier management, manufacturing operations, engineering or project/programme management.
• 8+ years of leadership experience managing teams responsible for supplier execution, operations, supply continuity or complex programmes.
• Proven experience in supplier risk management, capacity readiness and business continuity planning.
• Experience leading cross-functional programmes and influencing senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day supply execution: ensure supplier commitments are met, with clear ownership and timely action.
• Shortage management: identify shortages early and drive recovery plans with cross-functional teams.
• Escalation & recovery: discipline in escalating critical issues with defined owners and milestones.
• Supplier management: lead execution across delivery, capacity, quality, and technical readiness.
• Factory support & leadership interface: align factory priorities with supply-chain needs and escalations.
• Execution governance: establish KPIs, cadence, and accountability for actions and outcomes.
