Job summary

OCBC e2 Power Sdn Bhd is seeking a Senior Payments Investigation Leader to drive strategic initiatives across payment investigations, governance, and risk management. You will mentor teams, align objectives with regulatory requirements, and collaborate with Compliance, Risk, IT, and Customer Service to resolve escalations.

The role emphasizes SLAs, system enhancements, and data-driven reporting to senior management, while maintaining a customer-centric approach in resolving payment issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Banking & Finance or related field.
• 5–7 years in remittance operations and payments investigation.
• 2+ years in a leadership role.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide visionary leadership to the payment investigation team and align goals with organizational objectives.
• Governance: ensure policies, procedures, and regulatory adherence; monitor internal controls and regulatory requirements.
• Manage stakeholder relationships with Compliance, Risk, IT and Customer Service teams; liaise with banks and regulators.
• Define, monitor and manage SLAs and KPIs; drive performance improvements.
• Collaborate with IT and transformation teams to design system enhancements and automation for investigations.
• Prepare regular/ad-hoc reports on metrics, trends and risk for senior management.
• Lead process improvements, drive efficiency, and promote adoption of best practices.
• Coordinate with auditors for audit activities and remediation of findings.
• Address customer payment issues promptly with a customer-centric approach.
