Job summary

AFRY Malaysia is seeking a highly experienced Senior Civil Consultant to join the Director Leadership Team within the Power & Energy Division. The successful candidate must hold an active Professional Engineer with Practising Certificate (PEPC) issued by the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM).

Qualifications

• Active PEPC issued by the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• 10–15 years of experience in CCGT, thermal power, Solar PV and/or BESS.
• Experience reviewing EPC/EPCC deliverables and construction documentation.
• Familiarity with Eurocodes, BS, ASTM, ISO, IEC standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical due diligence for CCGT, gas engine, Solar PV, BESS, waste-to-energy and biomass projects.
• Provide technical advisory during project development, feasibility studies, financing and execution.
• Review civil/structural designs, calculations, specs and contractor deliverables.
• Identify technical risks and develop mitigation strategies across the project lifecycle.
• Lead or support LE, OE, and IE assignments; coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
• Prepare due diligence reports, engineering reviews and technical assessments.
