Job summary

Hatch Asia seeks a Director of Marketing Communications in Kuala Lumpur to lead content creation, marketing and public relations across the firm's portfolio. You will craft a comprehensive strategic plan to boost awareness and differentiation, guide messaging, and drive engagement with target segments.

You will oversee website and collateral development, manage media relations and ensure consistent brand identity across channels, while partnering with leadership to shape the firm's growth

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in marketing communications and public relations, preferably within technology and fintech.
• Proven track record in developing strategic marketing communications plans that align with business objectives.
• Strong writing and editing skills across websites, blogs, social media and thought leadership.
• Deep understanding of customer segmentation and journey mapping.
• Crisis communications and media activities experience.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Marketing Communications: Develop and implement a strategic plan aligning with goals, ensuring consistent messaging across channels.
• Content Creation: Oversee compelling content including website copy, blog posts, social media content, whitepapers and collateral to drive engagement.
• Customer Segmentation: Research and analyze segments to tailor campaigns and personalized communication strategies.
• Marketing Effectiveness: Define KPIs, analyze data, and optimize strategies to improve acquisition, retention and conversion.
• PR Strategy: Craft and execute a future-proof PR strategy to maintain media relationships and enhance brand reputation.
• Brand Management & Media Relations: Ensure consistent brand messaging, develop guidelines, and manage media interviews and coverage.
