• Degree in Finance, business administration, management, economics, or engineering.
• Professional accounting qualification (CFA or Chartered Banker) is preferred.
• 10-15 years of banking and finance experience with stakeholder management and project leadership.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, planning, data management, and systems knowledge.
• Excellent financial analysis and insights generation with scenario and sensitivity analysis.

Job description

To act as a strategic finance partner - bridging financial data, business strategy, and execution to drive informed decisions and long term value creation.

Key Responsibilities:

Support Strategic Decision‑Making

• Provide forward‑looking insights to management by translating strategy into financial plans, supporting leaders evaluate options, investments, and trade‑offs. Analyse deals and transactions with the profitability and strategic lense.

Budgeting and Forecasting

• Develop accurate budgets, forecasts, and long‑range plans that align financial resources with business goals and enable proactive management of performance. Translate budget and target expectations to clear strategies for businesses

Performance Monitoring and Control

• Lead forecasting for country and business to provide forward looking insights. Curate topical conversations with senior management on issues with performance.

Resource Allocation Optimization

• Guide efficient allocation of capital and operating resources by prioritizing initiatives that maximize value and returns.

Risk Identification and Management

• Identify financial risks and sensitivities (e.g., cost inflation, revenue volatility, FX exposure), perform scenario and sensitivity analyses, and support mitigation planning.

Value Creation and Profitability Improvement

• Partner with business units to improve margins, reduce costs, enhance productivity, and drive sustainable growth. Continuous simulation to seize opportunities for value creation.

Communication with Stakeholders

• Provide consistent and reliable financial narratives to senior management, the board, and external stakeholders (where applicable).

Support Operational Excellence & transformation

• Translate operational drivers into financial outcomes, ensuring alignment between operational realities and financial expectations. Lead transformation and continuous improvement within the function and for bankwide.

Job Specification:

• Degree in Finance, business administration, management, economics, engineering
• Professional Accounting qualification, CFA, Chartered Banker
• 10-15 years of banking and finance experience and 10 years experience in managing stakeholders, running of projects and leading programmes
• Strong financial acumen, budgeting, forecasting & planning, data management and systems knowledge
• Good in problem solving - financial analysis & insights generation, scenario and sensitivity analysis and commercial and investment analysis.
