Senior Executive Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
The FP&A Executive will play a key role in supporting strategic financial planning, portfolio analytics, banking facility reporting, and corporate performance tracking. This role collaborates closely with senior leadership and accounting teams to drive process improvements, optimize margins, and provide actionable insights for business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Financial Planning & Modeling
- Build and maintain dynamic financial models to support short, medium, and long-term financial plans, scenario analyses, and strategic initiatives.
- Conduct detailed variance analysis against budgets, forecasts, and prior periods to provide timely insights on key performance drivers.
- Evaluate the financial impact, return on investment (ROI), and risks associated with new business initiatives, projects, and capital expenditures.
- Portfolio & Treasury Analytics
- Cost of Funds (CoF) Analysis: Monitor capital costs from banking facilities and corporate backing against loan book yields to optimize Net Interest Margin (NIM).
- Portfolio Velocity: Track cash flow velocity and risk-adjusted ROI across the receivables/lending portfolio.
- Assist in daily treasury-related activities and cash management operations.
- Banking Facility & Securitization Reporting
- Partner with senior leadership to manage Asset-Backed Securitization (ABS) sale notices, Sukuk, and Bank Payment Obligation (BPO) servicer reports.
- Prepare and compile financial reports, schedules, and supporting documentation for external and internal stakeholder reviews.
- Financial Reporting, Closing & Process Improvement
- Partner with the accounting team during month-end and year-end closing processes to ensure accuracy and perform result reviews.
- Enhance financial reporting processes, analytical tools, and executive dashboards to improve reporting efficiency and data accuracy.
- Monitor cost center performance, providing detailed spending analyses and efficiency recommendations to control overheads.
- Conduct market, industry, and competitor analysis to evaluate market positioning and support business growth initiatives.
Job Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. Professional qualifications (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CFA) are a plus.
- Experience: 3-5 years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, or FP&A. Background in the financing/credit/lending industry is highly preferred.
Technical Skills:
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (financial modeling, pivot tables, advanced functions) and PowerPoint.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace tools (Drive, Sheets, Slides).
- Working knowledge or familiarity with proprietary Loan Management Systems (LMS) and SQL accounting software is an advantage.

Languages
Good command of written and spoken English and Malay. Fluency in Mandarin is an added advantage.
