Job summary

Avanade Malaysia is seeking a Delivery Lead to oversee the planning, management, and successful delivery of strategic technology projects across Southeast Asia. You will drive customer satisfaction, mentor teams, and partner with CXOs to align delivery with business goals.

You will lead end-to-end program delivery, manage fixed-price engagements, and apply AI-enabled delivery practices to improve speed, quality, and value while maintaining scope, schedule and budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or technology is preferred.
• 12+ years of total experience with delivery in SI/solutions.
• Experience in D365 and ERP-related business processes (F&A, S2P, O2C, PMA).
• Experience delivering technology projects regionally (3+ countries) and managing fixed-price engagements.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver large, complex technology implementation programs across multiple countries, ensuring successful execution from initiation through closure within a regional delivery model.
• Own end-to-end program delivery, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, budget, quality standards, contractual obligations, and commercial commitments.
• Manage fixed-price and commercially sensitive projects with strong governance across: Scope and change management Project planning and scheduling Financial management and cost control Risk and issue management Delivery execution and quality assurance
• Develop, maintain, and govern comprehensive project plans, ensuring requirements are accurately defined, tracked, and managed throughout the project lifecycle.
• Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate project and program risks, making critical adjustments as needed and securing alignment from senior leadership on key decisions.
• Interpret and manage contractual obligations, ensuring delivery remains aligned with agreed scope, commercial terms, and client expectations.
• Operate effectively within consulting and solution implementation environments, applying structured project delivery methodologies while adapting to client-specific requirements.
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with executive stakeholders, including CXO-level leaders, managing escalations, navigating complex situations, and driving successful business outcomes.
• Provide technical and delivery leadership across Microsoft solution engagements by: Guiding delivery teams on best practices Contributing to architecture and integration discussions Supporting informed solution and technology decisions
• Lead cross-functional, multi-disciplinary teams by driving accountability, resolving conflicts, maintaining delivery momentum, and mentoring team members to achieve high performance.
• Manage relationships with clients, suppliers, partners, and subcontractors to ensure successful delivery outcomes.
• Navigate complex delivery environments across Southeast Asia (SEA), adapting to regional business practices, diverse teams, and varying customer expectations.
• Leverage AI-enabled capabilities and emerging technologies within the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) to improve delivery efficiency, innovation, and overall project outcomes.
• Drive continuous improvement and deliver results in ambiguous or rapidly changing environments by proactively identifying opportunities to enhance delivery performance and customer value.
• Foster a customer-centric culture while coaching, mentoring, and developing high-performing teams across business units and practice domains, including AI, M365, D365 ERP and CRM programs.

Experience & Qualifications

• min 12+ Years of total working experiences, matured Implementation Delivery within SI services
• Must Have Experience in Projects D365, preferably in supporting and enhancing Dynamics 365 ERP business processes, including Financial Accounting & Reporting (R2R), Procurement (S2P), Sales & Billing (O2C), Project Management & Accounting (PMA), Fixed Asset Management (A2D), Asset Lifecycle Management (D2R), and Product/Project Delivery processes (I2D).
• Experienced in Technology Project Implementation across Regional scope, more than 3-5 countries
• Profound understanding of contract terms and interpretation, coupled with excellent customer expectations management skills
• Experienced working within Consulting / Solution Implementation environments
• Confident engaging CXO/business leadership, handling escalations, managing difficult conversations, and building trusted client relationships.
• Command respect from cross-functional teams, drive accountability, manage conflicts, and lead high-pressure delivery environments effectively.
• Understand SEA regional nuance, diverse workforce dynamics and client's expectations in this region
• Would be great if you have experienced in AI proficiency in delivering SDLC
• Prior experience managing commercially sensitive fixed-price projects is mandatory.
