Job summary

Maxis in Kuala Lumpur is offering a Digital Platform Intern – AI, Omnichannel Products role. You will support product development initiatives, explore AI-powered solutions, and help drive omnichannel customer engagement with cross‑functional teams.

The internship targets students or recent graduates in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
• Interest or exposure to product development methodologies, product lifecycle management, and digital platform ecosystems.
• Strong interest in Artificial Intelligence (AI), automation, conversational AI, and digital customer engagement solutions.
• Understanding of digital channels, customer journey management, and platforms such as WhatsApp for Business or other customer communication solutions is an added advantage.
• Ability to organize tasks, manage priorities, coordinate across teams, and track project progress effectively.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to create impactful presentations, product pitch materials, and business documentation.
• Ability to evaluate business opportunities, generate innovative product ideas, and contribute creative solutions to address customer and business needs.
• Comfortable working in a cross‑functional environment and collaborating with stakeholders from various business and technical teams.

Key Responsibilities

1. Product Development & Innovation

Support the development and enhancement of digital platform products, including AI‑powered solutions and omnichannel customer engagement offerings. Assist in researching market trends, customer needs, and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for product innovation.

1. Product Launch & Go-to-Market (GTM) Support

Assist in planning and executing product launch activities, including coordinating launch timelines, preparing launch materials, and supporting go‑to‑market strategies to ensure successful product adoption and customer engagement.

1. Presentation Development & Product Pitching

Prepare product pitch decks, business presentations, and customer‑facing materials to effectively communicate product value propositions, use cases, and business benefits to internal and external stakeholders.

1. Stakeholder & Project Management Support

Coordinate and manage communications with various stakeholders, including engineering, business, and operations teams. Track project deliverables, follow up on pending activities, and support project management efforts to ensure timely execution of initiatives.

1. Omnichannel Solutions & Customer Experience Enhancement

Contribute ideas and recommendations to improve customer experiences across digital channels. Support initiatives related to AI‑enabled products, WhatsApp for Business solutions, and omnichannel engagement platforms that strengthen customer interactions and business outcomes.

Preferred Skills / Qualifications

Education

Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.

Product Development Knowledge
