Job summary

FMT Media Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Media Sales Executive (Digital) to drive advertising revenue across display, branded content, video, social and event packages. You will own your pipeline from first contact to signed quotation, opening new agency and direct-brand accounts every quarter and growing repeat business.

You will identify prospects, build target lists, secure meetings, and present compelling proposals with the BD team. Travel for client meetings may be required.

Qualifications

• 3 to 6 years of media sales experience, with at least 2 years in digital media.
• Strong command of English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin is an advantage for Chinese-language clients.
• Active network of agency planners and buyers in Malaysia.
• Proven track record of opening new accounts and hitting sales targets.
• Working knowledge of digital ad formats and metrics (CPM, CPC, reach, engagement, branded content).

Responsibilities

• Identify, prospect and open doors with media agencies, creative agencies and direct brands not yet spending with FMT.
• Build a target list each quarter and pursue it via cold calls, emails, LinkedIn and meetings.
• Secure first meetings with planners, buyers, brand managers and marketing heads.
• Build relationships with planners and buyers at agencies and respond to briefs quickly.
• Get FMT onto agency media plans and RFP lists and negotiate rates within guidelines.
• Close deals and hand over campaigns to the account servicing team.
• Follow up after campaigns to secure renewals and upsell into larger or ongoing packages.
