Job summary

UNIVILLAGE MANAGEMENT SDN. BHD. is seeking a Digital Marketing & Event Officer who is creative, energetic and hands-on to support digital marketing, student engagement and event activities.

You will manage social media content, coordinate events, and communicate with students, tenants, vendors and partners, including China platforms such as Xiaohongshu (RED), WeChat and Douyin. Fluency in Mandarin and good English are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in digital marketing, social media management or event coordination.
• Fluent in Mandarin and able to communicate confidently with Mandarin-speaking students and parents.
• Good command of English; Bahasa Malaysia is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage and update social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and WhatsApp
• Create engaging content including posts, reels, short videos, stories and promotional materials
• Develop and manage content for local and international markets including China platforms (Xiaohongshu, WeChat, Douyin)
• Plan and execute digital marketing campaigns targeting local and international students
• Monitor social media engagement, enquiries and campaign performance
• Respond to online enquiries and follow up with potential customers
• Plan, coordinate and execute student events, activities and promotional campaigns
• Assist with event setup, registration, logistics and coordination on event days
• Work with vendors, suppliers, university representatives and external partners
• Take photos and videos during events for use on social media
• Support accommodation promotions, open days, roadshows and student activities
