Job summary

Astro Malaysia is seeking an Advertising Operations Analyst to manage end-to-end digital advertising bookings, monitoring, and billing. You will support campaign fulfilment, revenue tracking and billing reconciliation, partnering with Sales, Finance and Campaign Management.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Business, Finance, Data Analytics, Communications or a related discipline.
• Preferably 1–2 years of experience in advertising operations, order processing, billing, finance operations, data processing or administrative support.
• Strong numerical aptitude, analytical thinking and attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, lookups, PivotTables and data reconciliation.
• Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia, with collaboration across teams.
• Meticulous and process-oriented, with ownership of assigned responsibilities.
• Organised and proactive, with ability to manage recurring deadlines.
• Adaptable and eager to learn, with openness to new technologies.
• Familiarity with SAP, advertising booking systems or revenue tracking platforms (advantage).
• Familiarity with AI productivity tools (e.g., ChatGPT) and Power Query/Power BI (advantage).

Responsibilities

• Campaign Booking, Monitoring & Billing: process and validate digital bookings in ARP, SAP and other systems.
• Verify documentation, pricing, approvals and booking details against Finance/audit requirements.
• Monitor campaign utilisation and delivery progress; identify discrepancies and billing issues.
• Prepare weekly progress and revenue reports; assist monthly billing and reconciliation.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure timely monthly billing cycles.
