Job summary

JOBSCONNECT MANPOWER AGENCY INC is seeking a DIE PREP PROCESS & EQUIPMENT STAFF ENGINEER to own and optimize the Die Prep process on the assembly line. You will establish new process capabilities, perform equipment setup, and drive performance, quality, and reliability initiatives.

You will monitor yield, support NPI and ramp-ups, and lead a team of Die Prep Engineers and Technicians to meet output and KPI targets while driving cost reductions and efficiency improvements.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of working experience required.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or similar field.
• Experience in die prep process.
• Knowledge of FMEA, DOE, SPEC and risk analysis.
• Independent with good communication skills and cross-functional teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Own the Die Prep process and drive process ownership.
• Establish and set up new Die Prep assembly processes and materials.
• Monitor performance, quality and reliability of Die Prep; implement corrective actions.
• Support engineering build requests, ramp-ups and platform extensions.
• Improve yield and reduce costs for the Die Prep process.
• Lead and develop Die Prep Engineers and Technicians; align with KPI targets.
• Coordinate new processes and support new product introductions.
• Drive continuous improvement and technology upgrades in manufacturing.
