Job summary

STMicroelectronics is seeking an engineer to support and improve the die attach process, aiming for stable production, high quality and improved yield. The role involves process optimization, troubleshooting, and close collaboration with production, equipment and quality teams to drive continuous improvement.

Ideal candidates have advanced engineering degrees and experience in semiconductor manufacturing, DOE, FMEA, SPC and DMAIC.

Responsibilities

• Improve and sustain die attach process performance, quality and yield.
• Troubleshoot line issues, perform failure analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Develop, update and maintain process specifications, SOPs, FMEA, PCPs and control charts.
• Monitor process performance using SPC and address instability.
• Support production to meet output targets and customer expectations.
• Investigate technical issues related to materials, equipment and process conditions.
• Handle customer complaints, lot-on-hold situations and quality concerns.
• Collaborate with Operations, Equipment, Quality and Production to minimize disruption and improve line performance.
• Support NPI transfer and ensure smooth production of new products and technologies.
• Participate in risk assessment, change management, DOE and 8D/DMAIC problem solving.
