Sandisk in Malaysia seeks an Associate Process Engineer (Die Prep) to develop, sustain and optimize manufacturing processes at the Batu Kawan site. You will lead problem solving, monitor yield and quality, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

The role requires a degree in engineering, strong knowledge of SPC/FMEA/DOE, and experience with process optimization and cross-functional collaboration in a high-volume environment. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

Competenze

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Manufacturing, Materials, or equivalent).
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing process control, SPC, FMEA, DOE, and statistical analysis.
• Experience in process improvement, yield enhancement, defect reduction, and productivity improvement projects.
• Experience in root cause analysis and problem-solving methodologies such as 8D, 5 Why, Fishbone, and DMAIC.
• Good understanding of quality systems and manufacturing standards.
• Strong communication and technical documentation skills.
• Ability to lead projects independently and drive corrective actions to closure.

Mansioni

• Process Ownership & Support: Own and support assigned manufacturing processes. Monitor performance, yield, quality, and productivity. Provide daily technical support.
• Yield & Quality Improvement: Drive yield improvement and defect reduction. Perform commonality analysis across product, process, machine, material, and measurement factors.
• Lead structured problem solving root cause investigations using methodologies such as Why-8D, DMAIC, FMEA, SPC/APC. Implement corrective actions.
• Capacity, Cost & Productivity Improvement: Identify and implement cost reduction opportunities. Improve equipment utilization, throughput, and efficiency.
• Risk & Compliance Management: Conduct risk assessments for process changes. Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and standards.
• Cross Functional Collaboration: Work with Manufacturing Quality, Equipment Engineering, Failure Analysis, Production NPI, and teams.
