Job summary

KPJ Selangor Specialist Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to deliver comprehensive hemodialysis patient care using the nursing process and dialysis devices. You will participate in rounds, follow doctors’ orders, document progress, and coach patients and families on treatment plans and post-care steps.

The role requires at least 3 years of clinical nursing experience, valid nursing licensure, and certifications such as BLS, ACLS, MTLS, PALS, and NRP.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with license and at least 3 years of clinical experience.
• BLS, ACLS, MTLS, PALS and NRP certifications as required.
• Willingness to work scheduled hours, shifts, weekends, and on-call emergencies.
• Proficient English and Bahasa Malaysia, with good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive hemodialysis patient care using nursing process and dialysis equipment.
• Perform nursing rounds, respond to changes in patient condition, and communicate with the team.
• Administer and follow doctors' orders, document patient progress and ensure accurate charging.
• Educate patients and families about treatment options, organ donation, and post-care plans.
• Assist with patient billing, scheduling, and coordinating care with other units.
