Job summary

Qualifications

• Registered with the Nursing Board of Malaysia and licensed to practice.
• At least 3 years of clinical nursing experience.
• Certifications in BLS, ACLS, MTLS, PALS and NRP as applicable.
• Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia; strong documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to nursing vision, align with unit goals, and manage shift duties.
• Provide high quality care and report changes in patient condition.
• Handover reports and follow doctor orders; ensure patient safety.
• Visit patients, reassess care plans, and set nursing priorities.
• Provide comprehensive hemodialysis care and document patient records.
• Conduct nursing rounds, assist with procedures, and support doctors.
• Communicate clearly with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Educate patients and families; participate in organ donation counseling.
• Assist with billing procedures and schedule follow-up appointments.
• Collaborate with unit manager on standards, inventory, and bed management.
• Ensure proper charges for equipment and supplies; maintain stock.
• Inspect sterile packs and ensure equipment readiness; quarterly stock count.
• Contribute to quality improvement, infection control, and safety programs.
