Job summary

Sungguh Kemajuan Sdn Bhd in Kedah is seeking a junior architect to assist in development planning and architectural design from concept through detailed design. You will prepare and review drawings, layouts, proposals, 3D models, and presentation materials, ensuring alignment with project objectives.

The role requires practical knowledge of AutoCAD and SketchUp, with familiarity in Revit, Photoshop, Lumion, or Enscape considered an advantage.

Qualifications

• Fresh graduate encouraged to apply.
• Diploma or Degree in Architecture, Architectural Technology, or related field.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience in architectural design, drafting, or development planning.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and SketchUp; knowledge of Revit, Photoshop, Lumion, Enscape, or similar software is a plus.
• Able to prepare and interpret architectural drawings, layout plans, building details, and construction drawings.
• Strong communication and coordination skills to work effectively with consultants, contractors, and internal teams.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
• Self-motivated, organised, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

1. Assist in development planning and architectural design for property development projects, from concept through detailed design.

2. Prepare and review architectural drawings, layout plans, design proposals, 3D models, and presentation materials.

3. Assist in reviewing proposed layouts and building designs in terms of functionality, space planning, and development objectives.

4. Review consultant drawings to identify discrepancies and coordinate the resolution of design and technical issues.

5. Liaise with internal departments, consultants, and contractors on design changes and project requirements.

6. Maintain accurate records of drawings, revisions, submissions, approvals, and project correspondence.
