Tata Consultancy Services Limited is seeking a proactive Junior Desktop Support Administrator to join our Information Technology team in Malaysia. You will be the first point of contact for employees needing technical assistance, handling hardware/software deployment, basic networking, and ITSM ticketing.

The role emphasizes customer service and reliable issue resolution. Qualifications include an IT-related degree and 1–3 years in IT Helpdesk or desktop support.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• 1–3 years of experience in IT Helpdesk, Desktop Support, or technical customer service role.

Responsibilities

• Tier 1 Helpdesk Support: initial contact for end-users via ticketing, email, or walk-ins.
• Hardware & software deployment: configure, install, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, monitors, IP phones, and peripherals.
• Access management: assist with onboarding/offboarding, create accounts, reset passwords, manage access (Active Directory/Entra ID).
• Incident tracking: log, update, and resolve requests in ITSM platform with timely user communication.
• System maintenance: perform routine updates and patches on Windows and macOS workstations.
• Basic networking: troubleshoot Wi-Fi, LAN, and VPN connectivity issues.
• Asset management: maintain accurate inventory of IT hardware and licenses.
