SolveTech Sdn. Bhd. in Shah Alam invites a Design Engineer / Draughtsman to join our Engineering team.

You will design boilers, pressure vessels, and related mechanical systems and prepare drawings with AutoCAD, ensuring compliance with ASME, DOSH and company standards. Fresh graduates or candidates with 1–3 years of boiler or pressure-vessel design experience are encouraged to apply. You will coordinate with project, production and QA/QC teams, support fabrication and installation, review

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related field.
• Fresh graduates or candidates with 1–3 years of experience in boiler or pressure-vessel design are encouraged to apply.
• Familiar with pressure-vessel codes (e.g., ASME Section VIII), welding processes, and material standards is an added advantage.
• Proficient in CAD software (AutoCAD).

Responsibilities

• Perform basic engineering calculations such as sizing, stress checks, and material selection.

• Review and update technical documents, specifications, and design reports.
• Provide engineering support during fabrication, inspection, and installation phases.
• Ensure all design activities comply with regulatory requirements and internal quality procedures.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives related to product performance, safety, and manufacturability.
