SolveTech Sdn. Bhd. in Shah Alam invites a Design Engineer/Draughtsman to join the Engineering team. You will assist in design and development of boilers, pressure vessels, and related mechanical systems, preparing drawings and BOMs using CAD, and ensuring compliance with standards.

Fresh graduates or 1–3 years of boiler design experience are welcome; the role offers full-time on-site work in Shah Alam with structured training and opportunities for career growth.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related field.
• Fresh graduates or candidates with 1–3 years of boiler/pressure-vessel design experience.
• Familiar with pressure-vessel codes (e.g., ASME Section VIII) and welding processes is a plus.
• Proficient in CAD software (AutoCAD).
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Able to work independently and meet project deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design and development of boilers, pressure vessels, and related mechanical systems in accordance with ASME, DOSH, and company standards.
• Prepare engineering drawings, fabrication details, and bill of materials using CAD software.
• Perform basic engineering calculations such as sizing, stress checks, and material selection.
• Coordinate with project, production, and QA/QC teams to ensure designs meet manufacturing and customer requirements.
• Review and update technical documents, specifications, and design reports.
• Provide engineering support during fabrication, inspection, and installation phases.
• Ensure all design activities comply with regulatory requirements and internal quality procedures.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives related to product performance, safety, and manufacturability.

Requirements
