LIANHETECH MALAYSIA SDN BHD is seeking a process design professional in Johor Bahru to collect and organize project data, prepare energy balances, and design process flows. You will select equipment, create P&ID and layout drawings, and support electrical, instrumentation, and civil design tasks.
The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or chemical engineering, with over one year of process design experience preferred.

Responsible for collecting project-related process data, design specifications, safety and occupational health standards, and other technical documents;
Prepare project material and energy balance calculations and design process flow schemes;
Complete equipment selection and prepare design drawings such as P&ID diagrams, non-standard equipment condition drawings, and equipment layout drawings;
Provide project equipment data sheets and material lists, and support the completion of electrical, instrumentation, and civil engineering design work;
Prepare project-related design proposals;
Assist the department manager in completing design reviews among various disciplines and departments;
Participate in project design and process safety assessments;
Complete project preparation work, evaluate compliance with assessment requirements and national regulations, and coordinate the completion of preliminary design;
Participate in drawing reviews and examine relevant drawings;
Assist in preparing project acceptance documents and project cost budgets;
Improve and archive P&ID drawings based on HAZOP and PSSR results.

Major in Chemistry, Applied Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or related fields;
Candidates with more than 1 year of process design experience are preferred;
Proficient in using CAD software.
