Job summary

CYCA Architects Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced and creative Design Architect to join our architectural team in Malaysia. The candidate will lead design development and deliver quality architectural projects with a strong emphasis on high-rise, educational and institutional developments.

The role requires 5+ years of relevant experience, proficiency in AutoCAD, and the ability to coordinate multi-disciplinary teams while ensuring compliance with local regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor/degree in Architecture or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant architectural experience.
• Good understanding of building planning, architectural detailing and construction processes.
• Familiarity with Malaysian authority requirements and submission procedures.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and other relevant architectural software.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop architectural concepts from concept design through design development and project implementation.
• Prepare design proposals, presentations, layouts, architectural drawings and project documentation.
• Develop design solutions that respond to project requirements, site conditions, functionality and aesthetics.
• Coordinate architectural design with clients, consultants and multidisciplinary project teams.
• Review and resolve architectural, technical and coordination issues throughout the project.
• Ensure design and documentation comply with relevant Malaysian building regulations, authority requirements and project standards.
• Attend client meetings, consultant coordination meetings and site meetings when required.
• Review architectural drawings and documentation to ensure accuracy, quality and consistency.
• Assist in managing project deliverables, design programmes and coordination matters.
