OCBC Group is seeking a Deputy Head of the Operations MIS Department in Kuala Lumpur. You will lead regulatory reporting oversight, governance, and stakeholder engagement to ensure timely, accurate submissions across multiple streams.

You will drive continuous improvement, supervise senior staff, and coordinate with regulators, risk, finance, and technology teams to strengthen controls and resilience within the department.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in banking, finance, business administration, statistics or related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in banking operations, regulatory reporting, finance or related functions; supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory reporting requirements (BNM/SC) and risk management principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis; experience with reporting systems or analytics tools is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee end-to-end regulatory reporting portfolio for the department, including key returns.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and implement controls across reporting streams.
• Lead and develop team leads and subject matter experts, stepping in for the Head of Department when needed.
• Drive transformation, centralisation and automation to improve accuracy, timeliness and scalability.
