Job summary

BP Healthcare Group in Malaysia is recruiting a dedicated Dentist to join our patient-focused team across KL/Selangor and Penang. You will meet with patients, diagnose dental concerns, perform prophylaxis, extractions, root canals, and braces as needed. Candidates should hold a Bachelor’s in Dentistry with MDC & APC and have 5+ years of experience.

English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin are advantageous. Salary ranges RM5,000–RM20,000 per month with discretionary profit sharing and health

Qualifications

• Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Dentistry or equivalent.
• Postgraduate Diploma/Professional/Master’s in dentistry is an added advantage.
• Ability to converse in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Meet with patients to discuss and treat dental concerns and establish care plans.
• Perform dental procedures including cleanings, extractions, root canals, and braces.
• Provide sealants, whitening, and denture/crown models as needed.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care.
• Review radiographs and maintain patient records.
• Coordinate with staff to deliver comprehensive dental care.

Job Description

Meeting with patients to discuss and treat dental concerns, perform regular cleanings and other preventative procedures, and establish a plan for better dental hygiene.

Performing dental procedures, such as extractions, root canals, and etc.

Correct teeth alignment or positioning by using braces

Use sealants to protect teeth or whitening procedures

Create models of crowns and dentures by taking measurements and making models

Promote oral health and preventive dental care.

Refer patients to dental professionals for professional advice procedures when necessary

Giving clients sedatives or anesthesia prior to administering treatment.

Educate patients on oral hygiene recommended practices and suggest the appropriate brushes and toothpaste for their needs

Review the x-rays taken in the office to assess the teeth health and any potential problem areas

Keeping records relating to the oral health of patients and the treatments given to them.

Managing and communicating with other staff members to provide care to patients.

Other tasks as and when given by the Management.

Job requirements

Candidates must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree from renowned university. Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Master's Degree, Dentistry or equivalent is an added advantage.

Must possess valid MDC & APC.

At least 5 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
