Job summary

Smile Borneo is seeking a Dentist to join our Kota Kinabalu clinic on a full-time, on-site basis. You will provide comprehensive dental care, from routine check-ups to restorative procedures, with a patient-first approach.

We value strong clinical and diagnostic skills, MDC registration with APC, and at least 2 years of clinical experience; new graduates welcome. Collaboration with a multidisciplinary team and ongoing learning are encouraged.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Dental Surgery (BDS/DDS/DMD) or equivalent.
• Fully registered with the Malaysian Dental Council (MDC) and holds a valid Annual Practicing Certificate (APC).
• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience (new graduates are welcome to apply).
• Strong clinical and diagnostic skills with a holistic, patient-first approach.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A team player with the ability to work in a multi-disciplinary healthcare setting.
• Open to continuous learning and innovation.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of dental procedures including consultations, diagnostics, restorations, extractions, root canal treatments, scaling & polishing, and prosthodontics.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene, disease prevention, and treatment options.
• Collaborate closely with other medical professionals to deliver integrated, patient-centered care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with clinical standards.
• Work collaboratively with dental/medical assistants, front desk staff, and management to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Support clinic campaigns, wellness programs, and corporate health initiatives.
• Participate in continuing professional development and clinic improvement initiatives.
