Job summary

Klinik Pergigian DentaCare Parit Buntar is seeking a motivated dental surgery assistant to support the dentist with chair-side care, instrument preparation, and maintaining a clean, well-stocked clinic.

Full-time permanent role in Parit Buntar, Malaysia, with shift coverage from 9am–6pm and 10am–7pm. Salary RM1,700–RM1,900 plus attendance and overtime allowances; training provided for those without experience.

Qualifications

• No experience acceptable; willing to learn and follow clinical protocol
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during patient examinations and treatments
• Prepare the surgery for the treatment and ensure all necessary equipment and materials are available
• Provide oral health education and advice to patients
• Ensure the surgery is kept clean, tidy, and well-stocked with supplies
• Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment
• Manage patient's appointment, registration and billing
• Work closely with the dentist and other team members to ensure a high standard of patient care

Job description

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic dental surgery assistant to join our team. Thedental surgery assistant will be responsible for providing assistance to the dentist in all aspects of patient care, including chair-side assistance, preparing instruments and materials, and maintaining the hygiene and cleanliness of the dental surgery.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during patient examinations and treatments
• Prepare the surgery for the treatment and ensure all necessary equipment and materials are available. Provide oral health education and advice to patients
• Ensure the surgery is kept clean, tidy, and well-stocked with supplies
• Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment
• Manage patient's appointment, registration and billing.
• Work closely with the dentist and other team members to ensure a high standard of patient care

Requirements

• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team

Working Day

• Must work 23 days a month
• Flexible off day (based on schedule)
• Opening shift : 9am-6pm, Closing shift : 10am-7pm
• Attendance and Overtime allowance provided
