Job summary

G32 Healthcare Sdn Bhd is seeking a dedicated dental assistant to support our dental team in Kuala Lumpur. You will prepare treatment rooms, assist the dentist during procedures, take X-rays, and handle patient coordination and front desk tasks.

Comprehensive training will be provided to ensure compliance with clinical protocols and infection control standards. The role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and a friendly approach as you contribute to high-quality patient care in a supportive clinic

Qualifications

• Reliable and responsible team member with good communication
• Willing to learn and follow clinic protocols
• Familiarity with dental terminology is an advantage but not required
• Training will be provided to ensure coverage of all procedures

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms, patients and instruments for dental care delivery
• Set up rooms according to protocols and procedures
• Welcome and prepare patients prior to treatment
• Assist dentist during procedures (suction, pass instruments, mix/place materials)
• Take and develop dental X-rays, and manage study casts
• Sterilize and manage dental instruments and materials
• Assist with clinical documentation and charting
• Schedule and manage patient appointments and reminders
• Handle basic front desk tasks and patient inquiries
• Adhere to infection control and safety protocols
• Additional relevant tasks as assigned

Key responsibilities

Prepare treatment rooms, patients, instruments, and materials to ensure efficient dental care delivery

Organize and set up treatment rooms according to dental protocols and procedures

Welcome, comfort, and prepare patients before treatment

Assist the dentist during procedures - including suctioning, passing instruments, and mixing/placing dental materials

Take and develop dental X-rays; pour, trim, and polish study casts

Sterilize, clean, and manage dental instruments and materials

Assist with clinical documentation and charting

Schedule and manage patient appointments, reminders, and follow-ups

Handle basic administrative and front desk tasks, including patient inquiries and feedback

Adhere strictly to infection control and safety protocols

Other relevant task as assigned

About you

Responsible, dependable, and team-oriented

Friendly personality with good communication skills

Willing to learn and follow clinical protocols

Familiarity with dental terminology and procedures is an advantage, but not required - training will be provided
