Job summary

KPJ Selangor Specialist Hospital is seeking a Senior Dental Aide to support the Head of Dental in supervising daily operations and ensuring high-quality dental services.

The role involves assisting dentists during procedures, maintaining infection control standards, managing supplies, supervising junior staff, and coordinating with vendors for equipment maintenance to ensure patient safety and optimal care.

Qualifications

• SPM (Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia) or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience in a similar clinical setting.
• Preferred 2-3 years in a hospital or clinical practice.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and assist patients for dental procedures per protocols.
• Assist dentist during restorative and surgical procedures at chairside.
• Manage dental materials, instruments, and sterilization.
• Supervise Dental Aides and ensure infection control.
• Maintain dental records and treatment plans with confidentiality.
• Provide pre- and post-operative instructions to patients.
• Coordinate with Biomedical Engineering and vendors for equipment maintenance.
• Promote good interpersonal relationships and support departmental marketing.
