Job summary

Wah Seng (1986) Sdn Bhd in Ipoh is seeking a responsible and reliable Delivery Driver to join our operations team. You will deliver food and beverage products safely, accurately and on time, using the company vehicle provided.

You will navigate with Waze/Google Maps, maintain the vehicle, and coordinate with the warehouse. A valid Malaysian driving licence (GDL) and ability to work independently are required. Basic Bahasa Malaysia is essential; English is an advantage.

Qualifications

• Possess a valid Malaysian driving licence and GDL licence.
• Good driving record and responsible driving habits.
• Familiar with roads and delivery locations around Ipoh and Perak.
• Physically fit and able to assist with loading and unloading goods.
• Able to use Waze / Google Maps and smartphone applications.
• Able to communicate in Bahasa Malaysia. Basic English is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Deliver goods to customers according to the daily delivery schedule and assigned routes.
• Check goods against Delivery Orders (DO) before leaving the warehouse and upon delivery.
• Ensure the correct quantity and condition of goods are delivered to customers.
• Obtain customer acknowledgement / Proof of Delivery (POD) and ensure all delivery documents are properly completed.
• Assist with loading and unloading of goods.
• Handle products carefully to prevent damage during transportation and delivery.
• Maintain good communication with the warehouse and operations team regarding delivery status, delays or customer issues.
• Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of the assigned company vehicle.
• Conduct basic daily vehicle checks and promptly report any defects or maintenance requirements.
• Follow all road safety regulations and company procedures.
• Assist with warehouse or other operational duties when required.

• Physically fit and able to assist with loading and unloading goods.
• Able to use Waze / Google Maps and smartphone applications.
• Honest, punctual, responsible and able to work independently.
• Able to communicate in Bahasa Malaysia. Basic English is an advantage.
• Candidates who can start immediately will be given preference.
