Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated is seeking a Data Centre Day Shift Maintenance Engineer to ensure reliable operation of critical infrastructure in a Johor Bahru data centre. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on UPS, generators, HVAC, and power systems, while monitoring alarms and documenting activities.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years in 24/7 critical environments, with CMMS/BMS experience and strong problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Relevant technical qualification in electrical, mechanical, or facilities engineering.
• Experience with UPS, generators, HVAC, and electrical distribution.
• Ability to read drawings, schematics, and P&IDs; familiarity with CMMS and BMS.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on UPS, generators, CRAC/CRAH units, chillers, PDUs, power distribution systems, fire suppression, and BMS.
• Monitor alarms, respond to events, log activities, and support capacity planning.
• Diagnose faults and coordinate with vendors for repairs; participate in root cause analysis.
• Maintain compliance with SOPs, standards, and safety protocols; follow LOTO and safety rules.
• Prepare accurate maintenance records and contribute to regulatory inspections.
