Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated is seeking a Data Center Electrical Engineer for our Johor Bahru, Malaysia data center. The role focuses on implementing and maintaining critical power infrastructure to maximize uptime and energy efficiency.

You will design and oversee power distribution, UPS systems, generators, and electrical gear, while ensuring compliance with industry standards. Extensive field coordination with vendors and in-house teams is required to deliver reliable data center

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program is required.
• Minimum 5-7 years of electrical engineering experience in data center or mission-critical facilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical engineering aspects of data center projects from design through commissioning.
• Coordinate with MEP contractors, equipment vendors, and internal teams to ensure project delivery.
• Review shop drawings, submittals, and equipment specs for compliance with design requirements.
• Conduct site inspections during construction and verify installation quality and code compliance.
