Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated is seeking a Facilities Engineer for on-site operations in Johor Bahru, Malaysia. The role focuses on supervising preventive and reactive maintenance for data centre infrastructure and coordinating service providers to ensure compliant, efficient performance.

You will routinely generate weekly incident reports, manage vendor relationships, and support space planning and safety processes.

Qualifications

• Degree in any Engineering field.
• 3–4 years of relevant experience in engineering or manufacturing.
• Experience with electrical/mechanical services in data centres or critical facilities is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor preventive and reactive maintenance for data centre infrastructure.
• Ensure site practices comply with client and company standards.
• Manage service provider performance and track work orders.
• Create weekly management reports on incidents and losses.
• Liaise with client representatives and vendors to ensure timely execution.
• Assist in arranging PPM contractors and JHA documentation.
• Oversee safety induction and PTW processes with contractors.
• Support space planning and updating floor layouts in AutoCAD.
