Job summary

Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. seeks a senior technical leader to shape post-silicon performance characterization for AMD Data Center products across single-node to rack-scale deployments in Penang, Malaysia.

You will set direction for complex investigations, connect silicon behavior to system outcomes, and drive hardware, firmware, drivers, and workload improvements. You will mentor engineers, translate performance objectives into validated results, and collaborate across sites to deliver

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven technical leadership on cross-functional programs and strong systems-level thinking.
• Experience with Python and ML frameworks is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Define and lead performance-characterization strategies for Data Center products across HPC and ML workloads.
• Establish scalable workload-execution and performance-data-collection frameworks.
• Drive power, thermal, and performance definitions by linking architecture to measured behavior.
• Lead development of characterization and optimization test plans.
• Drive scaling and bottleneck analysis across rack-scale deployments.
• Mentor engineers and influence engineering decisions across teams.
