Job summary

RIMBUNAN HIJAU ACADEMY SDN. BHD. is seeking a Database Administrator in Malaysia to manage MSSQL Server and build core database objects such as tables, views, keys, triggers, stored procedures, and functions, while maintaining documentation and guiding new hires during upgrades.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in IT/CS/IS and at least three years of experience. You will support ERP and other third‑party software, keep master files up-to-date across modules, and deliver monthly KPI reports

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems or related field.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a related role.
• Hands-on MSSQL Server experience and database object development.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update MSSQL database objects and guidelines.
• Provide training to new hires during entry or after upgrades.
• Maintain master files for business modules and KPI reporting.
• Prepare monthly KPI summaries on database management status.

Job description

Hands-on experience in Microsoft SQL Server is a must - Creating all key database objects (Tables, Views, Foreign Key Relationships, Triggers, Stored Procedures scripting and User Defined Functions)

Maintain and update MSSQL Tutorial guideline where necessary and provide training to new hirers during entry or after database upgrade.

Provides database technical expertise to team concerning methods, procedures and standards to be used during design and development phases.

Ensure database documentation is up to date with changing information in product as well as change in any database infrastructure.

2. Application Support (ERP and other related third party software )

Maintenance of master files for Sales, Material, HR, Plantation, Education and Financial Modules.

Maintain and update documentation of user acceptance test, user access, rollup & signoff where necessary

Files all maintenance form and prepare monthly KPI summary report on database management status.

3. Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

4. At least 3 years’ experience in related field
