Job summary

Mettler-Toledo International, Inc is seeking a Data Quality Assistant to support Asia-Pacific client sourcing and data integrity across Malaysia, Vietnam, and neighboring markets. You will research potential clients, analyze investment activity, and keep our databases accurate and up-to-date.

No direct client contact is required; collaboration with sales and analytics teams is essential. Qualifications include a Marketing or Database Management background, at least 2 years in data research,

Qualifications

• Educational background in Marketing and Database Management.
• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in data research.
• Advanced Excel skills: VLOOKUP, pivot, and data cleaning.
• Strong analytical skills with keen attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Advanced English; knowledge of Vietnamese, Thai, Japanese, or Korean is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Research potential new clients and investment activities for APAC markets.
• Analyze existing client investment activities and ensure data accuracy.
• Prepare clear, organized presentations and documentation; verify data quality.

Our Opening and Your Responsibilities

As a Data Quality Assistant, you will play a vital role in our client acquisition efforts in the Asia-Pacific region, including Malaysia, Vietnam, Thailand, Philippines, Japan, South Korea, Indonesia, Cambodia. Your primary responsibilities will include researching potential clients, analyzing existing investment activities, and ensuring our databases are accurate and up-to-date. There is no direct contact with the clients.

Conducting Research: Identify and gather information on potential new clients and investment activities of current clients. Mainly, you will use Google, databases with open access to them, industry magazines and web-sites.

Presentation and Documentation: Compile and present the research findings clearly and organized.

Data Verification: Ensure the accuracy of data by identifying and rectifying errors within databases.

What You Need to Succeed

• Educational background in Marketing, Database Management.
• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in data research
• Advanced level of knowledge in Excel (vlookup, pivot, standard formulas how to sum, sort, clean the data)
• Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Advanced level of English, knowledge of Vietnamese, Thai, Japanese, Korean will be an asset
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
