Job summary

NielsenIQ in Malaysia seeks a Data Processing Specialist to execute sample management and associated project work, representing local market conditions in operations and coordinating with Output and Input Operations.

You will monitor data quality, drive process improvements, and collaborate with regional teams to ensure timely, accurate client deliverables. The role demands strong analytical skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced, multi-cultural environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics or Computer Science is preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work in a team and meet deadlines.
• High accuracy, proactivity and attention to detail are essential.
• Minimum of 1 year relevant working experience.
• Strong analytics aptitude and comfort with data and operating processes.
• Proficient English speaking and writing; ad-hoc/project management skills are a plus.
• Excel is mandatory; SQL and Python, R are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Execute, monitor, and improve production tasks in Statistical Operations.
• Understand processes with attention to detail and identify automation opportunities.
• Handle country-specific data processes and potentially multiple countries.
• Participate in development and drive standardization for method-related processes.
• Engage with cross-functional teams to improve data quality and drive improvements.
• Prepare accurate tracking KPIs to monitor quality and timeliness.
• Work in a virtual/multi-cultural environment liaising with stakeholders.
