Job summary

NIQ Malaysia is seeking an Operations Analyst to serve as the bridge between Operations and internal client services. You will ensure timely, high-quality data delivery in line with SLAs and client specifications.

Responsibilities include processing defined reports, engaging stakeholders, and advocating for client needs within the NOC to optimise processes and data integrity. A proactive, detail-oriented mindset with strong English and analytics skills is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Statistics, Science, Computer Science, Business Information Systems or IT equivalent
• Minimum 1 year experience in operations
• Excellent organisation skills, ability to work in a team and meet deadlines
• High degree of accuracy, proactivity and attention to detail
• Strong analytics skills and aptitude for data and operational processes
• Project management aptitude (critical path, task sequencing, problem solving)
• English language fluency in speaking and writing
• Excel is mandatory; SQL and Python, R are advantageous

Responsibilities

• Act as the point of contact between Operations and internal client services to manage end-to-end operational queries and support to clients
• Provide timely data with high quality according to service levels and requirements
• Process defined reports, schedules and processes by following procedures, delivery schedules and SLAs
• Advocate for clients within the NOC, providing feedback and challenging internal processes
• Provide input to Process Owners/Team Leads to optimise Operations effectiveness
• Ensure clean data by understanding relationships across processes and avoiding re-work
• Deliver databases and outputs based on client specifications on time and with quality
