Adecco Staffing Recruitment is seeking a Data Migration Specialist to support the NEO local team in Bandar Utama, Petaling Jaya on a 12-month contract, hybrid basis (Mon-Fri, 9:00–18:00). The role focuses on data cleansing, migration approach mapping and validation of deliverables.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of SAP data migration experience, with ECC to S/4HANA exposure, data mapping and ETL know-how, and strong stakeholder collaboration across Tech/Business teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in SAP Data Migration.
• Experience with migration from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA.
• Expertise in Data Mapping and migration systems
• Functional and technical knowledge of data objects
• System knowledge (SAP, EBX)
• Solid understanding of data quality and flows: ETL, reconciliation/validation
• Ability to engage locally to understand context and propose appropriate migration approach aligned with methodology
• Transversal management skills, animating Tech/Business stakeholders
• Ability to manage cross-object dependencies and operate effectively within complex, multi-stakeholder ecosystems
• End-to-end understanding of data quality impacts on migration and processes
• Strong problem-solving ability with pragmatic delivery mindset

Responsibilities

Data Migration Specialist (from SAP ECC to SAP S4Hana)

The Data Migration Expert will support the NEO local team in the coordination of data cleansing and lead the migration of data under their responsibility. This is a 12-month contract role with possible conversion to permanent or renewable, based in Bandar Utama, Petaling Jaya, working Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 6 PM on a hybrid basis.

Key responsibilities

• Support NEO local team in the coordination of data cleansing based on defined methodology
• Lead onboarding workshops and support the team in defining the migration approach specificities and mapping
• Validate the data migration deliverables
• Ensure all tasks related to assigned objects are delivered within the defined timeline, proactively anticipating risks and coordinating with adjacent objects and teams
• Act as first line of support for migration defects and data issues
• Support application owners by providing inputs for data propagation and downstream impacts
• Lead post-migration REX definition for the assigned scope and entity
