Job summary

Beyondsoft Singapore is seeking a Data Governance specialist to define and operationalise data-quality controls across migration lifecycles. You will ensure migrated data remains traceable, trusted, controlled and compliant.

You will work with business and technology stakeholders to define data elements, profiling, remediation plans and governance controls across source, staging and target environments, while supporting regulatory reporting needs.

Qualifications

  • Experience in data governance, data quality, metadata management or data stewardship.
  • Good understanding of data profiling, quality dimensions, lineage, catalogue and control frameworks.
  • Strong SQL skills for validation and analysis are preferred.
  • Ability to define measurable data-quality rules and work with technical teams on remediation.
  • Strong documentation, stakeholder engagement and issue-management skills.
  • Understanding of privacy, security and regulatory expectations for enterprise data.
  • Banking or financial-services data governance experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Define data-quality rules, thresholds, validation controls and remediation processes for migration datasets.
  • Support metadata, catalogue, business glossary, ownership, stewardship and lineage requirements.
  • Perform data profiling and identify completeness, accuracy, consistency, duplication and referential-integrity issues.
  • Work with business and technology stakeholders to define critical data elements and acceptance criteria.
  • Track data-quality defects, root causes, remediation actions and migration readiness status.
  • Ensure governance controls are maintained across source, staging and target platforms.
  • Support audit evidence, control documentation, policy compliance and regulatory reporting needs.
  • Coordinate with migration engineers and testers on data reconciliation and quality sign-off.

Job description

Primary Scope: Data governance, data quality rules, metadata/catalogue, lineage, stewardship, controls and remediation.

Define and operationalise data governance and quality controls throughout the migration lifecycle so that migrated data remains traceable, trusted, controlled and compliant.

Key Responsibilities
