Teleperformance Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking a Data Entry (Excel Expert) - Mandarin Speaking to join our Administration & Office Support team in Kuala Lumpur. This full-time role focuses on inputting, managing, and organizing large volumes of data with high accuracy and efficiency using advanced Excel.

You will verify data, create pivot tables and reports, and communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Excel, including advanced functions such as VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, pivot tables and data validation.
• Fluent Mandarin Chinese, both spoken and written.
• High typing speed with accuracy for large data volumes.
• Experience with database management systems and data entry software.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Enter and maintain accurate data into company systems and databases.
• Utilise advanced Excel functions to create spreadsheets, reports, and analysis tools.
• Verify data accuracy by cross-referencing source documents.
• Organise and categorise data per established protocols and standards.

This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our data systems. As a Data Entry specialist with advanced Excel expertise, you will be responsible for inputting, managing, and organising large volumes of data whilst ensuring the highest standards of accuracy and efficiency. Your proficiency in both data entry and Excel will be essential to supporting our business operations and enabling informed decision-making across the organisation. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to work with Mandarin-speaking clients and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Enter and maintain accurate data into company systems and databases, ensuring all information is recorded correctly and in a timely manner
• Utilise advanced Excel functions and formulas to create spreadsheets, reports, and data analysis tools
• Verify data accuracy by cross-referencing source documents and identifying discrepancies
• Organise and categorise data according to established protocols and company standards
• Perform data cleaning and validation to ensure quality and consistency across all databases
• Create pivot tables, charts, and visualisations to present data in a clear and meaningful format
• Communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients, colleagues, and stakeholders to clarify data requirements and resolve queries

What we're looking for

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions such as VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, pivot tables, and data validation
• Proven experience in data entry roles with a demonstrated track record of accuracy and attention to detail
• Fluent in Mandarin Chinese (both spoken and written) with the ability to communicate effectively with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders
• Strong typing speed and accuracy, with the ability to input large volumes of data efficiently
• Experience with database management systems and data entry software
• Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to identify and resolve data-related issues
• A keen eye for detail and commitment to maintaining high data quality standards
• Proficiency in other Microsoft Office applications such as Word and PowerPoint is advantageous
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
