Michael Page is seeking a Data Engineer (AI) to design and deliver cutting-edge AI-powered data solutions. You will work with Python, OpenAI/Azure OpenAI services, and RAG-based architectures to deploy production-grade ML workflows.

Qualifications

• Over 5 years of software or data engineering experience, with at least 2 years delivering AI/ML solutions in production.
• Strong Python proficiency for data engineering and AI-powered applications.
• Experience with Azure OpenAI Service or OpenAI APIs, including chat, embeddings, and function calling.
• Experience building LLM-powered solutions using RAG pipelines, AI agents, and prompt engineering.
• Solid understanding of vector databases, embedding models, and Python-based ETL/ELT data pipelines.
• Experience with cloud AI platforms and API development using frameworks such as FastAI, Flask.
• Familiarity with emerging AI technologies such as MCP, agentic AI patterns, LangChain Semantic Kernel, multilingual AI models, or Responsible AI practices would be highly valued.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams and explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop data engineering and AI-powered Python solutions for production use.
• Work with OpenAI/Azure OpenAI services and embeddings to build LLM-powered apps.
• Build and maintain RAG pipelines, AI agents, and prompt engineering workflows.
• Manage vector databases and Python-based ETL/ELT data pipelines.
• Collaborate with regional/global stakeholders and cloud AI platforms.

• Experience working with Azure OpenAI Service or OpenAI APIs, including chat completios, embeddings, and function calling capabilities

• Experience with cloud AI platforms and API development using frameworks such as FastAI, Flask
