Job summary

PROSHIVZ in Malaysia invites a System & Control Manager to oversee the performance and reliability of all system and control platforms supporting data centre operations. You will lead BMS, CPOS, DCIM, and NOC functions, drive 24/7 monitoring, and ensure vendor governance and asset lifecycle management across the campus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Instrumentation & Control, or Building Services Engineering
• 8–12 years of relevant experience in data centre, mission-critical facilities, or industrial control environments
• Proven experience managing BMS, DCIM, or similar OT platforms
• Strong knowledge of data centre operations, control systems, and alarm management
• Hands-on understanding of mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, control, and monitoring systems
• Experience leading teams and managing cross-functional stakeholders
• Familiar with BMS, DCIM, CMMS, PLC/SCADA systems, and data analytics tools (Power BI)
• Strong problem-solving skills with root cause analysis
• Able to work in a 24/7 operational environment and support critical incidents

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all system and control functions across the data centre campus, including BMS, CPOS, DCIM, control & instrumentation, and NOC operations
• Establish, operate, and improve system architectures for new and existing data centre facilities, including design review, integration, testing, commissioning, and handover
• Oversee day-to-day reliability, performance, and resilience of all system platforms to ensure uptime and stability
• Own annual CAPEX and OPEX planning for system and control, including budgeting and lifecycle investments
• Develop financial governance through structured business cases for upgrades and new technology investments
• Establish vendor governance frameworks and manage vendors, integrators, and service providers to ensure SLA performance
• Oversee asset lifecycle strategy: registry governance, configuration control, calibration planning, version management, documentation integrity
• Drive system integration and data accuracy across BMS, CPOS, DCIM, and analytics platforms
• Lead performance management, training planning, and succession to ensure capable teams
• Ensure 24/7 monitoring and alarm response through NOC with escalation and roster governance
