Job summary

Fortive is seeking a Sales and Application Manager for Data Centre Solutions in Malaysia. The role focuses on delivering application solutions through engaging product presentations, demos, and go-to-market programs to meet revenue targets in hyperscalers, colocation providers, and data centre environments.

You will drive channel partnerships, conduct training sessions, and support revenue growth in current markets while expanding into new verticals.

Qualifications

Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics, Marketing, or equivalent experience in Test & Measurement field.
Demonstrated success in technical sales; ability to present and sell Test & Measurement equipment.
Experience or knowledge in Industrial Channel Marketing, especially Data Centre sectors.
Solid background in channel and sales management within a field sales role.
Minimum 8 years’ experience in technical sales and in data centres or related industries (HVAC, Cabling & Network, Power, Infrastructure).
Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills; multitasking capability.
Proven track record of winning large-scale projects.
Excellent technical and engineering knowledge; experience in Test & Measurement industry is a plus.
Persuasive communicator with ability to influence decisions.
Team-oriented in a matrix management structure.
Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills in English.
Adaptable to evolving market conditions and business demands.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results with One Fluke approach.

Responsibilities

Identify high-value opportunities across Hyperscalers, Colocation providers, and enterprise data centres.
Develop and manage relationships with Hyperscalers, Colocation operators, EPC contractors and Engineering consultants.
Influence stakeholders early in the project lifecycle to drive specification inclusion.
Build and maintain strong relationships with channel partners and key customers through regular visits and calls.
Identify and build senior-level relationships with key customers.
Achieve assigned annual sales targets.
Deliver product application solutions under the One Fluke approach via training sessions, product demonstrations, seminars, workshops and sales engagements.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive revenue growth in current markets and expand into new verticals.
Support and execute go-to-market strategies with Product Marketing Manager to achieve revenue and brand goals.
Monitor and manage the sales funnel monthly with channel partners to meet forecasted targets and secure renewals.
Lead, motivate, and support channel representatives to meet performance objectives.
Willing to travel at least 50% of the time within Malaysia.
Perform any other duties as assigned by the Country Manager.
