Job summary

Flintex Consulting Pte Ltd in Malaysia is hiring a Sales Engineer for the Data Center segment to provide pre-sales technical support, design solutions, and product selection. You will engage customers, consultants, and partners to understand requirements and deliver suitable solutions.

Responsibilities include developing sales strategies for Data Center, pursuing new business, supporting proposals and tenders, and presenting solutions to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, ICT, or related).
• 3–5 years of experience in sales engineering, technical sales, or solution engineering.
• Prior Data Center or infrastructure experience is preferred.
• Strong technical knowledge of Data Center systems (power, cooling, monitoring).
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies for the Data Center segment.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities and key accounts.
• Support the sales team with proposals, tenders, and technical submissions.
• Build relationships with consultants, contractors, integrators, and end users.
• Conduct product and solution presentations to customers and partners.
• Provide pre-sales technical support including solution design and system architecture.
• Review project specs to ensure compliance with standards.
• Prepare technical documentation and clarifications.
• Collaborate with internal engineering, operations and project teams.
• Stay updated on Data Center trends and competitor activities.
